Hand smocking
Fabric pleating followed by hand-embroidered smocking stitches on the yoke, sleeves or waist: honeycomb, cable, wave, picture smocking.
Suitable fabrics
Light woven fabrics: poplin, batiste, cotton voile, linen, liberty prints. GOTS or OCS certified cotton available depending on your specifications.
Pattern making and grading
Pattern development, size grading from newborn to children's sizes, smocking elasticity adjusted per size.
Three-step inspection
Check after pleating (grid regularity), after smocking (tension and stitch alignment), then final inspection against the reference sample.
Small and medium runs
19 production lines across 2 workshops (15 for medium and large series, 4 for small series). Minimum of 150 pieces per style, may vary depending on materials.
Certifications
GOTS, OCS, OEKO-TEX, BSCI, WRAP, ICS. Each certification covers a specific scope, detailed on the Certifications page.
