    GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard

    GOTS is the world reference standard for organic textiles. Two label grades exist: "Organic" (at least 95% certified organic fibres) and "Made with X% organic materials" (at least 70%). The scope certificate held by LOI Confection covers babies' apparel, children's apparel and worn accessories in organic cotton, at the "Organic" label grade, for embroidery, manufacturing, printing, washing and laundering.

    Only products covered by a valid transaction certificate are certified; they are labelled separately. This scope certificate is not proof that delivered goods are certified.

    OCS — Organic Content Standard

    OCS is a Textile Exchange chain-of-custody standard that verifies and tracks organic material content from fibre to finished product. It is separate from GOTS and does not add GOTS processing requirements. The scope certificate confirms the company's certified scope; a transaction certificate verifies a specific transaction. LOI Confection's scope covers babies' and children's apparel, from 75% to 100% organic cotton depending on the product, at the OCS 100 and OCS Blended claim levels.

    BSCI Grade A — Business Social Compliance Initiative

    The BSCI programme assesses working conditions across 11 performance areas: freedom of association, non-discrimination, fair remuneration, health and safety, working hours. Ratings run from A (excellent) to E (unacceptable). LOI Confection holds Grade A, the highest possible rating.

    What does GOTS certification mean?▾
    GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the world reference standard for organic textiles.     Does OCS complete GOTS certification?▾
    No. OCS (Organic Content Standard) is a separate Textile Exchange standard: it tracks the organic material content of a product and does not extend or complete GOTS. LOI Confection is certified by Ecocert Greenlife under TE-00004788, valid until 2026-09-26. Only products covered by a valid transaction certificate are certified; they are labelled separately. This scope certificate is not proof that delivered goods are certified.
    How can I verify that a manufacturer is BSCI audited?▾
    BSCI results are verifiable on the amfori platform. LOI Confection holds Grade A, the highest rating, confirmed by annual independent audits.
    What is WRAP certification?▾
    WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certifies that the factory complies with 12 principles of responsible production: legality, working conditions, prohibition of forced labour, health and safety, environment, and more.
    Why hold 5 certifications at the same time?▾
    Each framework covers a specific area: GOTS and OCS for organic content, BSCI for social performance, WRAP for responsible production, ICS for overall compliance. Together they cover traceability and ethics end to end. Current frameworks: GOTS, BSCI Grade A, WRAP, OCS, ICS.
    How often are the certificates renewed?▾
    Our certificates are renewed every 1 to 2 years depending on the framework, through independent follow-up audits.
